Pregnancy massage is customized to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies. It is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. The gentle, noninvasive approach of prenatal massage can ease discomfort associated with pregnancy. It helps to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good.

What to expect during your session:
Your massage is customized to your level of comfort and specific needs. The massage is done in side-lying to prevent pressure on your baby. You may choose which side to start on. You will be supported with a body pillow and any extra pillows for support if need be. This can be very soothing work to enhance relaxation. Deeper work can be performed on the upper back and shoulder areas only. While lighter pressure is more specific for the lower legs (in case of any blood clots and swelling).
